I would be surprised if you had to take two a day. I'm on levothyroxine, which is most common. I think synthroid is the other. You will have to get very regular blood tests as they adjust your med levels since it'd so important to get that exactly right.

Have they told you about the not fun side effects? It's waaay harder to lose weight once you are on full thyroid replacement. That's the one that consistently pisses me off. And you can occasionally feel like a hormonal crazy person if your levels are way off.

But, you know. Better than cancer.
