LJ Idol voting - week 16
freaking beaker out

So I started LJ Idol without fully realizing what I was getting myself into.  As the weeks have gone by I have enjoyed writing, and reading everyone's entries.  I am amazed and honored to still be playing the game.

clauderainsrm declared January to be the 'Month of Doom' and he's not kidding.  This week there are 64 competitors, and the bottom ten are going home.  If you liked my entry for 'coloring outside the lines' about my tattoo please consider going here and voting for me.   Anyone can vote this time, there are no special rules, and no tribes.  The voting is open until Monday at 7pm EST.

This will be a long weekend of poll watching.  Thanks to everyone who has helped me get this far.

I haven't been around LJ much but I definitely love reading your entries even if I don't comment on them. I always make sure to vote for you.

Good luck!!

Aw, thanks so much. I was a little worried that my regular flist people were going to be annoyed at all the Idol talk, it's nice to hear that you like the entries.

And thanks for your votes - they've certainly kept me in this far.

Keep your sanity, Don't watch!

Heh. I don't ever watch until after I vote, and that's looking to be Sunday morning at the earliest. After that I check a few times a day, but not more than that. Thanks!

Just comming back to say that I read and voted. I thought last weeks offering were better than this weeks.

Are you getting specific comments on your writting? or is the constant practice what is helping you get better?

I agree, this week felt a little more uneven. I think some people weren't quite sure about the prompt.

There have been a few constructive comments about my writing (and I usually show my entry either to my boyfriend or another friend for critiquing before posting). But mostly I think it's just the drill of doing it weekly that is helping.

I voted. Good luck. Considering the number of people who started, you've done really well to make it this far. I hope you make it to the next round.

Thanks so much. I'm thrilled to have made it this far, but of course no one ever wants to be done. I think my writing is getting better too, which was part of the point to begin with.
