- One of my many Tuesday errands was getting some blood work done.  I'm going to call my endo tomorrow to see if the results are back but I feel like my thyroid is slowly falling further and further out of whack.  In the past week I am suddenly having trouble getting through the day without a nap, and I was only that bad when I was off my meds completely last summer.  Hopefully the results will back me up and I can get a new prescription (for the non-generic obviously) but if not I'll have to make an appointment and see what the other options are.

- I've only got a week and a half before I'm back on contract, and there are still so many things I want to get done.  I'll have to see what I can accomplish next week, I don't want to make myself crazy either.  Really the apartment hasn't had art on the walls for this long, it'll survive a little longer if I don't get to it.

- The voting is public this week for LJ Idol and the poll is here.  The poem was a lot of fun to write, though traditionally poetry doesn't fare so well in the contest so I guess we'll see.

- I'm cooking dinner tonight, it's a recipe I found a month or so ago.  This will be the third time I've made it over six weeks, so I should probably find something else to do with chicken soon.  But I tend to find meals I like and make them over and over for a while - luckily J does like this one too.  Or maybe he just likes coming home to me cooking dinner.

- I have a meeting for the next show I'm doing tomorrow at 10a.  Which is really a little early for theatre folks, I know the new person who sets the meetings is more of a morning person but ugh.  I expect it to be mostly about design stuff and matter very little to me, but it's time to show my face.

Voted for you! I liked your poem :)

Good luck with the bloodwork results...

Aw thanks! I like my poem too.

Really I just want the bloodwork to prove I'm not insane. At least, not about this.

I've been lucky med wise -- I take generic levo (insurance won't pay for the name brand), 100mcg, haven't had any issues for awhile. Haven't had to give the Zillion Vials Of Blood™ since the winter either, so my calcium must be finally holding steady :) I'm tired a lot of the time, too, but I chalk that up to my work schedule :p

Recipe? Chicken? I'll all ears.

I had no problems on the generic levo at my previous pharmacy but then insurance insisted I switch to their mail order. In my case my schedule hasn't changed but I'm sleepier, which is what's weird.

It's from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and is called Chicken with Creamy Mushrooms. Pretty much that's it and I make rice on the side for the creamy mushroom sauce which is oh so yummy.

Me too.

It's from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and is called Chicken with Creamy Mushrooms. Pretty much it's just chicken breasts and sauce and I make rice on the side. But the creamy mushroom sauce which is oh so yummy.

I feel a little better now. I've got some stuff to frame still, and some production photos of shows that probably should go in the spare bedroom / office space.

I was also wondering what the chicken dish was. And we get stuck in little ruts too, and every time I try to get us out of it, it often ends badly :P And then we go back to the same old.

Speaking of, summer is coming so we'll get to return to the "summer set" of dinners.

heh, I'm glad it's not just me. It's from the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook and is called Chicken with Creamy Mushrooms. Pretty much it's just chicken breasts and sauce and I make rice on the side. But the creamy mushroom sauce which is oh so yummy.

This dish is certainly more wintery so I'll make it once more and then I should look at other pages of the cookbook.

Oh nice, I have that cookbook!

My sister recently gave me a "Taste of Home" cookbook, and another crock pot cookbook, and they've both been really helpful with yummy, easy meals.

I should find a good crock pot cookbook, J just bought us one two months ago or so and I haven't actually used it yet (he has made pot roast).
