- It was a good football weekend in my world, yay!
- I made it through all of the shows and home safely this weekend, though Sunday was a little touch and go for a bit.
- Turns out the imaging center needed one more test done before they could even start the scheduling process so I had more blood drawn yesterday afternoon.  Today I called the imaging center confirming that as of 1p they didn't have results, left a msg with my endo's office to find the results or get an eta, and received a call from the imaging center asking for the number of the lab so they could contact them directly.  Still no call from the doctor who actually schedules things though. grrr.
- I got a cryptic text from a designer on my next show that turns out to have been cryptic because it wasn't for me.  And it woke me from a nap.
- Our tests were handed back in accounting today.  I got 90/91 which is 103% given where he put his curve.
- I think I may stay close to home and watch lots of movies this week, since that is about the level of exertion I can handle these days.  Anyone have a favorite I absolutely have to see?

What kind of movies do you like? I just saw the Box which I loved and I can always come up with recommendations for people.

I tend to like a bit of everything. The last three movies I saw through netflix were:
I am Trying to Break Your Heart
The Piano
Blood Simple
so I've been all over the place lately. Probably less thinky, I've got a whole lot of 'deep' movies at the top of my list currently.

OK, off the top of my head, less thinky movies that I found fun include:

Kissing Jessica Stein
Forgetting Sarah Marshall
The Love Guru (I know it got panned but we all found it hilarious)
Hot Tub Time Machine (saw it last night and although it's not laugh out loud funny, it was very sweet)
Tropic Thunder
Run Fatboy Run
The Princess and the Frog

The three movies I've seen on your list (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Tropic Thunder, and The Princess and the Frog) I hugely enjoyed - so I'm off to netflix to type these in and add them to my list. Thanks!

Oooh and if you like zombie movies, three which are a lot of fun (rather than being scary) are Shaun of the Dead (British, Sean Pegg), Zombieland and Dead Snow (Norwegian movie about Nazi zombies - it's soooo funny!). I don't know if you'll have it, but there's also a British movie about grave robbers called I Sell The Dead which I found very entertaining. It has Hobbit boy/guy-from-Lost-whose-name-I-can-never-remember in it.

You know, I should own Shaun of the Dead - it is worth watching again and again. In any case I hadn't seen Dead Snow or I sell the Dead and they're both in netflix. Whee!

If you don't mind old movies I could recommend a ton. :D

I really enjoy old movies. Netflix is my source so if they've got them I can add them to my list.

Woops, look what I found buried in my inbox...

The Lady Vanishes is one I always recommend to all and sundry - my absolute favourite Hitchcock film. I love his work, other favourites are Dial M For Murder, North by Northwest, Rebecca, Blackmail, and The 39 Steps.

For something more light-hearted though: Genevieve, Ball of Fire, Bringing Up Baby and You Can't Take It With You are some other favourites. :D

Point Break and Vision Quest. Do it!!!

Added to my netflix queue! I have actually not seen either of those.

You will not be disappointed. Especially if you like cheese.
