J and I went away for the weekend, and now we're back.  We went down to Santa Barbara to visit his dad and dad's wife, and we mostly had an incredibly lazy time of it, which was lovely.  Other interesting things: playing in the pool seemed to make a big difference in my back pain, J's dad has been eating vegan for a year and while he obviously doesn't want to impose anything on us but is still at that stage of accidental prosylitizing, and I got a few subtle state of the relationship type questions from dad's wife (which is fine, but really why don't you ask J?).  I forgot my levo pills, which is the first time that has happened in three years.  Three days without them certainly isn't the end of the world, but it was a bit jarring to realize that they had become background enough in my world that they could be forgotten.

After several weeks of being super busy at the temp agency there's been nothing for a bit, hopefully something else will pop up soon.  Now I need to do homework, and find some motivation.
