Seven fears/phobias
1.  Driving on overpasses and bridges.  I do acclimate to them eventually if there's one that I deal with often, but if I'm following directions and suddenly on a high overpass I didn't expect I have to grit my teeth and force myself to not drift to a stop in traffic.
2.  Heights.  Which is where #1 comes from, but at this point they do really feel like two separate things.  My issue with heights is that I always feel like there's something calling to me to jump, I would make it, I could land as light as anything if I just took the leap.  Uh-huh.
3.  Losing physical ability / motor control.
4.  The idea that things on the internet last forever, right until they don't.  (I went into my email this morning and everything from Jan 14-21st is just gone.)
4b. How much of my life is tied up into this crazy series of tubes that I don't understand the workings of at all.  These are the days I decide I need to learn to program, just because.
6.  Big dogs.  I know, he's just being friendly.
7.  Sounding unintelligent.  Usually happens if I get too emotional about something and stop thinking.

- The Packer game was heartbreaking.  So many things had to fall in such an exact way for that comeback to happen and every one of them did.  -sigh-
- I finally saw Boyhood last weekend, and it's lovely.  I'm not sure how you compare it to anything else because it is so completely its own thing.
- Yesterday I got to go across town to a different office and be the admin on site for our board meeting.  I very quickly remembered that I'm not so good at the hand-holding and petting that comes with keeping high level execs content - heh.
- My knee is still being cranky, and my new insurance cards haven't arrived yet.  I would like to get back to my PT and find out what exactly is hurting (ie is it strained or pulled, is it rubbing somehow, why is it fine for 3-4 miles and then starts) and it will probably be more useful now that I can describe the pain from yesterday instead of last month.
- I am now 42, which feels like it should be momentous, but I'm not quite sure how yet.  Seems thematically appropriate, yes?
